Working Title:
MURMUR(ing of materiality) / Chinese whispers / Material world
– Exploring creation modes of objects, constellations, and displays shaped as material choreography.
The project explores notions of materiality as well as the actual material, through the spectrum of speculative realism. It is an investigation in the object/artifact/material itself, and its influence upon and resistance towards different constellations and manners of display. As if the object would take a life of its own, as if the object would speak back, as if the object would turn into the subject, as it unexpectedly would claim its own sovereignty. And, if so, how would this re- arrange; the working process, the constellations of material and forms of exhibition display? How would it change our way of understanding and creating performances?
